But May is tired of ranch life and attracted to Clifton's suave, city ways, and she consents to go on a motor trip with him. Jim learns that there is oil on their properties, he goes in search of May, and they both have exciting adventures in Chinatown (city unknown) while escaping from Clifton. In the end, May gladly returns to the ranch as Jim's wife.
